Dr Imran Waheed

Founder, Psychiatric Report Ltd
Dr Waheed is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, with over 20 years' experience in medico-legal psychiatry. He has been providing expert reports to civil and criminal courts since 2007 and founded Psychiatric Report Ltd in 2012.
Dr Waheed currently serves as Deputy Medical Director within an NHS mental health trust. He provides clinical leadership for Psychiatric Report Ltd and sets the professional and ethical standards for the organisation.
Reports are allocated to experts within our panel based on suitability, expertise, and the specific requirements of the instruction. Dr Waheed undertakes medico-legal work where appropriate and subject to availability, but does not personally author or supervise all reports produced by the organisation.

Duty to the Court
Our experts understand their overriding duty to assist the court. Reports are independent, objective, and uninfluenced by the party instructing.
CPR Part 35 Compliance
All reports comply with CPR Part 35 and the Practice Direction, including the required expert declaration and Statement of Truth.
GMC Registration
All our psychiatrists hold full GMC registration with a licence to practise and are on the Specialist Register for psychiatry.
Continuing Development
Our experts maintain their skills through continuing professional development, including training specific to medico-legal practice.
